I am admitting to something extremely bizarre. Something that may make me look like I am completely off my rocker.
Or maybe not. For all I know, some of you may be doing the same thing.
What is it? Calendar counting of course. Only 4 more days till the calendar is officially Spring. Looking at the weather forecast does not reflect that though. Let’s go, Mother Nature. Get with the calendar program.
As most of my regular blog readers know, I absolutely adore Spring! From blue skies, to warm breezes, to flowers blooming. I just can’t wait!
See, there is just something so wonderful about Spring and Spring flowers. Except maybe Spring allergies, but at this point, I don’t even care. This winter has been harsh and cruel, and I have had enough!
But most importantly, I look forward to what a new Spring promises. More time together as a family. More time to spend time outside. More opportunities to get happy and healthy.
And more chances to get things organized. I am so behind on housework that I am absolutely frustrating myself. It should be simple, right? Wrong. It never is.
So what do I want to accomplish? DECLUTTERING!
My goal for this Thursday is to declutter and clean out the foyer closet. And clean and scrub the foyer steps. And wipe down the foyer walls. And the foyer door. Yeah, you get the idea. I need to start somewhere, so why not at the beginning? The place where everything starts: the entry way.
I am hoping that if I can get the beginning cleaned, the rest will follow.
How do you get yourself started when you seem stuck?
