“Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise!
Normally I blog a Thankful Thursday post about several different things that I am thankful for during the week. Generally it is a little of this, a little of that. Some huge, some minor, but all of them important. It has been quite a while since I was led to blog about the things I am thankful for. Not that I haven’t been thankful, just I haven’t felt the need to share them with my blog viewers. But with Holy Week upon, I feel the need to thank God for his blessings.
- I am so thankful for our home. I am so lucky to have my home, and sometimes I take it for granted. I am excited to start our new home improvement project that we will be able to enjoy for many years to come.
- I am thankful for my husband. If you look back over my other Thankful Thursday posts, you will see that is a common theme. I am so blessed to have him in my life. We will be married 16 years this May, and I love him even more.
- I am thankful that I have 2 great kids. They can drive me crazy sometimes, but I wouldn’t trade them for anyone in the world!
- I am thankful for my MIL. She is truly a woman who gives without any thought of receiving, does this joyfully without complaint, and is a great friend as well.
Sometimes I take for granted for all the wonderful blessings in my life. But this week, with Easter rapidly approaching, I remember that none of these things would be possible without the sacrifices Jesus made for us.
