Did you ever feel like you are always falling behind? That you are never going to catch up? That is how it is been for me this week. It is an extremely busy week at work for me. We are having our physical inventory this week, and there is a lot to do in preparation.
To top it off, I am working on my 5th day in a row with two more days to go. I am very blessed to have my job, and I am very grateful for it. It’s just, sometimes, being a working Mom has it downs. I tell myself it is just part of life, but it matters. It does.
Falling has always been a part of life. But it is not the part of life that I relish. Or enjoy.
Right now, I feel like I can’t catch up because I have no regularity in my life right now in my work schedule. It is hard to connect with your family when you are constantly working evening shifts. I know it is part of my job and that there are many others out there that are going through the same thing.
So I ask, how do you make the most of the time you do have with your family? I would love to hear your tips and suggestions.
I admit, I am awfully guilty of not doing anything around the house when I get out of work. Or on my day off I am devoted to catching up on my blog. I have some really exciting things going on at the blog this week. Be sure to stop back on Friday when I share some great tips on using technology to organize your life.
Valentine’s Day is coming up this week, and I am working hard on sharing some great posts. Candi from A Day In Candiland shared an awesome post about No Bake Strawberry Cheesecake. What a great treat to share with your favorite Valentine!
Can you say yum? YUM!
So that is where I am at right now. Falling behind. But catching up is on the plan for this week, no matter what!
How do you catch up when you fall behind?
