		<description><![CDATA[I am a pre-WWII kid and in those days, all women everywhere carried a handkerchief. Mom always had hers tucked into her bra when around the house and in a purse or pocket when we were outside. With three girls, there were still scrapes and bumps to take care of. My mom had magic spit. I can&#039;t tell you how many times I got medical service via a handerchief and spit. Those were the pre-kleenex days, so the handkie got put back wherever mom carried it and if needed, used on the next kid&#039;s scrape. All three of we girls are now grandmas, and none of us died from spit, so I guess it was a good antidote. With my own kids, I carried a first aid kit in the trunk, as you suggest. I don&#039;t think my spit had magic in it.]]></description>
