It’s another week, and time for more education. I am so happy to be joining Julie for What I Learned This Week. She always makes me smile with all the gems she learns. And it is so nice to see that she provides a way for bloggers to share their week in a non-threatening environment. Love it!
*This week I learned that baseball equipment is expensive. *Seriously*
*A pair of quality sliding shorts with built in supporter can run you $30 on sale.
*Baseball cleats are equally expensive. On sale, with a coupon.
*Baseball pants are the only cheap thing anymore! If you buy Rawling, they will last more than one season. Unless your son grows out of them. Or tears the knee out. Or stains them. In other words, invest in more than 1 pair, and they will still be the cheapest item on your list.
*Baseball bags are cheaply made, even though they are highly expensive. And 9 chances out of 10, the helmet won’t fit in it.
*Don’t get me started on the price of bats. Or the fact that you need to be a genius to remember what drop rate goes with each level.
*It is best to let Daddy’s go by themselves, because then Mom doesn’t have a panic attack.
*Did I mention that bats are hideously expensive? Yeah, I did. My son’s $200 DeMarini bat is now too light for his age group. So now I will have to buy a $300 one. Total fun.
