Lemon Squares
- 1 cup flour
- 1 stick margarine
- 1/4 cup roughly chopped walnuts
- 16 oz cream cheese
- 1.5 cups powdered sugar
- 2 small containers Cool Whip
- 2 pkgs. instant Lemon pudding
- 3 cups milks
- 1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix flour, margarine, and spread on a 13×9 pan, sprinkle with roughly chopped walnuts. Bake 8 to 10 min, then set aside to cool. When cool, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and one container of Cool Whip, and spread on crust. Mix the 2 packages lemon instant pudding with the 3 cups milk. Spread on cream cheese mixture, top with remaining Cool Whip and sprinkle with finely chopped nuts. Refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving.




Hi, I’m part of the SITS Beginner Blogger group (I just joined and started the project late). I love lemon squares! My mom used to make them every year for Valentine’s Day because lemons ripen in February in AZ (where I grew up). I have never made them. Thanks for the inspiration.
