Welcome to Making Our Life Matter, I am so glad that you are visiting today. I am very excited to be writing this post, and I hope that you enjoy it. This entry is part of Blogelina’s 100 Comments event. Making Our Life Matter is my latest attempt at blogging. I have gone through several phases with my blogging, and it’s never been what I had hoped for. Part of the reason is that I was trying to blog for everyone else, and not for myself. I was trying really hard to be someone I was not. This time it’s different, because I am blogging on my terms. I am not blogging for money, although someday I may. But at this time, this blog is all about sharing who I am on any given day. My family is the most important thing in my life, and I want them to continue to be my priority in blogging too.
So what do I most want you to know about me? That is easy, at least, I think it is. If you have always been a part of my blogging world, you already know that my husband is my best friend as well as my partner in life. He has always accepted me for who I was, in good times, and in bad as well. Our marriage has always been based on our mutual love for each other. Don’t get me wrong, we have our moments where we get angry and frustrated and probably like each other less than normal. But it never lasts, as we follow the don’t-go-to-bed-angry rule, and it has always worked for us. I pray that this will always be the case. We have a lot of things in common, especially our love of sports. In fact, that’s what brought us together in the first place. We enjoy the same type of music, television, and foods as well. We fit, plain and simple. When we first became parents, we had absolutely no idea what we were doing. Being married for a little over a year and a half when we had our first, everything seemed so overwhelming. But we worked together, and learned together, and continue to do things as a team. To read a bit about our boys, check out my About Me page.
Here are some other things that I enjoy:
I also wanted to highlight some of my favorite blog posts. I believe that these posts will also help you to see who I am, and why I blog. In no particular order, they are:
So that is a little about Making Our Life Matter, and what this blog is about. I hope you enjoyed your visit, and that you take a few moments to look around. I look forward to reading your comments, meeting new friends, and making new connections. Thank you again, Tanya, for hosting this event!
