What I Learned This Week~March 27th

*I learned that I am so completely happy that baseball season is back. As much as I hate the bipolar weather, the constant running around, and the never-ending laundry train, I love watching my son playing and having fun.  I love watching my husband coach and bring out the best in every kid.  And I really love time spent with friends.

*I learned that moving from FT to PT was the best decision I could have made. I am much more content, and more bearable to live with.

*I learned that menu planning is a good thing. However, it is not good for accumulating gas points because you are not running to the store several times a week for forgotten items.  Thankfully, this week our store has several good coupons, and going more than once a week is not bad for the bank account and terrific for the gas points.

*I learned that I am very excited that it is staying light out later at night. It really does make a day seem more relaxing when it’s not spent in the dark.

*I learned that working on the weekend ranks right up there with cleaning the toilet with a toothbrush. Thankfully, it is less now that I cut down my hours.

*I learned that the game Apples To Apples can cause you to have to run to the ladies room several times an hour because you are laughing hysterically. And the new Sour Apples To Apples is just as fun as the original.  And I am so happy that I am home on Sundays to play it with my family!

I learned a few things along the way this week, some new, some the same old same old. How about you? Join in the fun to see what others are doing and to make new blog friends. For more WILTW, please visit Julie at From Inmates to Playdates!

I also didn’t know that there was a Sour Apples to Apples, I will have to check it out. Today I learned how to take a screenshot on my iPod Touch by accident. I was trying to do something else and then I was like, “Hey, so cool, lol.” I never read manuals and rather learn by playing with a gadget but I’ve had my iPod for years so I’m surprised it took this long to figure it out, lol. Glad you are finding more balance between your work and home lives : )

Isn’t it great to know that life offers us so many opportunities to learn and do better? Love your list — especially the one spent with family.
