The holiday season is here! For many people this is their favorite time of year filled with love and laughter and jolly good times. On the flip side there is are just as many people who are overwhelmed and filled with holiday stress and concerns during this time of year. Today I wanted to share some books that I have found that have helped fill me with inspiration and helped ease my stress levels.
Holiday Stress Reducing Books
1) Tuesdays With Morrie – This is a book that if you ever do read it you will remember it for life. It is filled with loads of wonderful advice in a fun and easy to read story. On Amazon alone it has a 5 star rating from over 3,000 people.
2.) Chicken Soup For The Soul: 101 Inspirational Stories About Counting Your Blessings and Having a Positive Attitude – I have yet to come across a single Chicken Soup book that doesn’t have the ability to help put some positive perspective on things.
3.) Don’t Sweat The Small Stuff and It’s All Small Stuff– I have loved this book since I was a teenager. I suffered with major panic attacks when I was a teenager, and I read this book from front to back at least a dozen times in one year. I highly recommend for anyone who tends to make mountains out of mole hills. (I’m still guilty of this, and really should pick this book back up if I were being truthful.)
4.) Don’t Sweat Guide to Holidays– This little book is along the same lines, but it’s focused completely around the holidays.
5.) Taking Christmas from Stressed to Blessed – This almost like having your own little Christmas coach helping you get through the holiday season sanely.
6.) Christmas By Design– This book is filled with tips and strategies to help you get through the holiday season in an organized manner. Many reviewers bragged about how useful it was to have this book.
7.) Slowing Down to the Speed of Life: How To Create a Peaceful, Simpler Life– This book reminds you to slow down and enjoy life completely. It goes over how to do that in a peaceful manner.
I hope you’ll check out these books for possible ways of dealing with this seasons holiday stress. Stress can really sap out the joy of the holiday season. Don’t let that happen to you and your family this year.
