It’s been a while since I sat and just blogged a post about what is going on in my life. And it made me realize how absolutely busy we have been lately.
Baseball. Work. More baseball. More work.
It makes me realize that our Wildwood vacation just can’t come soon enough!
My work has been kind of busy lately. We have been having a lot of national storytimes, lots of projects, and lots of not-so-nice customers lately. I am not sure why, but it is certainly very trying. I know that there are sides to people that you can’t see, but it is extremely hard to be trying your best, and people still have to be so nasty.
On the upside, Sunday my youngest was confirmed and became a full-fledged member of our church. Where did the time go? It seemed like yesterday he was this tiny baby who would always need his mother. And now? Well, he is this amazing young man that is starting to make his mark in the world.
We are so proud of him!
So if you have come to my blog before, you might remember that my family and I love our yearly vacation to Wildwood, NJ. Right now, it is 24 days away. And it can’t come soon enough. I can’t wait to be walking on the boardwalk, doing some beachcombing, and eating my favorite foods!
But most importantly, I just want the uninterrupted time with my family to rest and recharge. I love this vacation because hubby will actually relax and take time for himself. You know, he’ll take a nap, listen to some of his music, and just snuggle.
To me, it is the best vacation ever! And the one vacation where I completely unplug from blogging. I have a couple of posts that I have pre-scheduled for some days, but other than that, I actually take time off from it. I am still looking for a few guest posts, so if you are interested, be sure to check out my guest post guidelines.
