Outside my window…The sun is coming up, and there is a frost on the ground. It is hard to believe it is the end of October.
I am thinking…that I am not ready for the darkness and coldness of the upcoming winter.
I am thankful… I am thankful that I have such a wonderful husband. Perhaps I might have mentioned it before, but he still amazes me with what he does for me and our family. Every time I think he can’t do more for us, he turns around and astounds me more! Things have been really rough for him lately, and I hope it eases up soon
In the kitchen… Stuck in a rut is the only way to put it.
I am wearing… Jeans, turtleneck, sweatshirt and warm fuzzy socks. My son has a charity baseball tournament today, and it is COLD!
I am creating… A home that should be ready to decorate for the holidays on Black Friday.
I am going… Get myself caught up on ironing! And laundry. And cleaning the bathroom. Ugh, does it ever end?
I am wondering... If I can survive the retail holiday season with my sanity intact.
I am reading… Insurgent by Veronica Roth
I am hoping… That something that I have been avoiding will get done. It’s something I know I should do because it is expected of me, but at the same time, I don’t want to set myself up for the hurt all over again. I need prayers and strength.
I am looking forward to… the weekends home with my family. Hubby has been really busy with work lately, and I miss him.
I am learning…That whining serves absolutely no purpose.
Around the house… Just trying to keep things presentable. Making sure I am making the beds daily, and that the sink is empty. It really makes a big difference. And doing at least one load of laundry a day. I am also trying to keep up with ironing. At last these things *must* be done before any blogging or networking starts. And stop talking about the above statement, and just do it!
I am pondering… How to declutter some stuff without my family noticing things are gone.
A favorite quote for today… “Just Do It”. It’s an oldie, but definitely a goodie!
One of my favorite things… sitting on the sofa, cuddling with hubby.
