Good Saturday morning!
As I am sitting here drinking my coffee and seeing the patches of snow outside, I can’t help but remember our trip to Tybee Island Georgia this past Summer. As many of you know, we love the Wildwood Beach area, and go each year in June.
So when we decided to drive to Florida this past Summer, we knew we wanted to stop and see a Southern beach. Savannah was a natural stopping place for us, and Tybee Island was a mere 25 minutes from there, so we made it our must-see beach stop.
Before I talk about experiencing the beauty of Tybee Island, I need to talk about the hotel we stopped in overnight. We stayed at the Courtyard Savannah Downtown/Historic District. I wish we had more time to spend in Savannah, but our time was limited. What time we did spend at the hotel was nice. We received a complimentary breakfast for sharing about our stay, and I will say, it was the absolute BEST hotel breakfast.
Once we were fueled up from breakfast, and packed back up in the, we headed out to Tybee Island for our beach adventure. I had programmed everything into our GPS before we left home, so we just had to push a button and go! It was a gorgeous, scenic drive!…
