Today’s brides have many responsibilities to get ready for their most important day. I have been happily and blissfully married for 16 1/2 years now. I have never been happier since I married my husband, who is my best friend as well. Back when I shopped for wedding dresses, I felt that I had to choose a certain image based on what was acceptable. Now that I look back, I wish I would have broken free and choose a dress that was not conventional.
Today’s Bride Has Many Options For The Perfect Dress
Recently I had the opportunity to visit and review the dresses on DressFirst.com. I am not generally a person that spends hours shopping for dresses, except for special occasions. Just for fun, I decided to peek through some wedding dresses on the website. After all, our 20th anniversary is coming up in 3 years. Wouldn’t it be fun to renew our vows, and wear a dress that more suited my tastes, instead of my mother’s? Today’s bride has so many choices now, and DressFirst.com has quality coupled with savings.
When going to the DressFirst.com website, the first thing I noticed was the clean look of the site. You could easily see that the website’s focus was on the dresses, not the website design. I liked the fact that the white background could easily give you a sense of what the dresses looked like. Navigation was definitely simple, and I liked that you had a language choice. I think that it shows that the website and designers are serious about bringing their products to brides throughout the world. Today’s bride will be able to imagine themselves in the dress, not just what they “think” it may look like.
While clicking through the different wedding dresses, the A-Line/Princess Halter Chapel Train satin wedding dress caught my eye. I loved that it had a simple but elegant look. There was enough beading on the dress to make it stand out, but still kept the attention on the bride. I also liked this dress because it comes in several color choices, so using it for a renewal of vows would be very easy if you didn’t want to stick with traditional white. The champagne satin color would be absolutely stunning for a beach ceremony.
I am a simple woman, and my wedding dress had a long train that almost was too long for my petite frame. Don’t get me wrong, it looked stunning in the church, but ended up being bulky for the reception. I needed to secure it with safety pins in addition to the regular hooks. The train ended up being heavy and awkward.
The wedding gown from DressFirst.com has a simple train, which is fully accented by the beautiful buttons on the back. I am a petite person(under 5 foot) and the simplicity of the back is not compromised during tailoring because DressFirst.com tailor-makes the dress for each order, so unlike my wedding dress, which required extensive work.
I really wish that was an option for me back then. I had to lose a lot of detail of my dress because so much had to be chopped off, and the beading had to be sewn back on. It made for a very expensive cost to my wedding day. With how expensive weddings can be, today’s brides need to balance beauty with costs, and DressFirst.com helps with that.
I enjoyed viewing and reviewing this wonderful website. It brought back found memories of my special day, and I know that today’s brides will be able to find the perfect wedding dress for their important day.
