Valentine’s Day Meal Ideas For The Entire Family
Tyson’s Batter Dipped Chicken Breast Tenders are the perfect ingredient for family meals. The tenders are easy for little ones to hold and dip, and make clean-up super easy. For the picky eater, you can tell them that they are eating #LuvTenders, it makes it fun and kids like to feel like they are part of the holiday celebration. I like the tenders for adults because they can be turned into a full meal, eaten as an appetizer, or added to a salad.
Shopping for them at Walmart is easy as well. Just head to the frozen foods aisle, and they can be found fast and easy. One quick trip to the store, and I had everything needed to make my special meal for the family. That included the really cute Valentine’s Day decorations, and the holiday M&M’s.
My husband works really hard during the work week, and I love to make his day better by having a delicious meal ready for him. This year, Valentine’s Day falls on a Friday night. He generally works till 6pm, and that night will be no different. So finding a meal that was that I could make in a matter of minutes was very important to me.
My kids were excited that they got to help me plan a Valentine’s Day meal that they can be a part of. They helped me brainstorm ways to make the chicken tenders into a meal that Daddy would enjoy. He love wraps, and chicken are a favorite of his. So I created a simple one that I know he will really like. After cooking the tenders as directed, I carefully cut the tenders into strips and then mixed them with a little buffalo sauce. I popped them in the microwave for a few seconds(10-15) to warm them up after adding the sauce.
Assembling this meal is quick and easy. You simply need to grab your favorite tortilla, and fill with the chicken tenders. After that, I added some cheddar cheese, then added a generous amount of the buffalo dipping sauce. After wrapping it in the tortilla, it was ready to be enjoyed!
I have included the recipe for the dipping sauce below so you can make this dish in your home. The great thing about making the wraps is you can customize it according to your tastes. I can’t wait for him to enjoy it!
Not to be left out, I planned a meal that the kids could eat with us. The boys are a little more easy to cook for, they liked theirs simply as tenders that they could dip into sauce. My oldest liked the buffalo ranch dipping sauce with his. My youngest, however, had to enjoy his with his favorite condiment: ketchup! It was really nice to see that they felt part of the holiday celebration.
For a fun and festive touch, I will be decorating our table with some Valentine decorations and will add some candy on the serving area for a fun touch. I even have a vase with glitter flowers in it for a romantic look. Since I have boys, it makes the table pretty for Mom, and I enjoyed planning it out with the kids. Who were they to argue when they got the candy to it after I everything planned.
As promised, here is my recipe for Buffalo Ranch Dipping Sauce:
