Happy Monday morning! It snowed yesterday, of course. Thank goodness we did our grocery shopping yesterday. This week’s menu plan is on the simple side, but since we have some running, and I have some cleaning to get done, along with a bunch of blog tasks. From what I understand, we are going to get hit with another major snowstorm later this week. So, perhaps, I should do one for next week too! I love doing the weekly menu plan because then I don’t have to think about it each night. Although, I just need to remember to take the ingredients out of the freezer, lol! So here is my weekly menu plan for February 10th.
Monday: Tacos with all the fixings.
Tuesday: On Your Own. I have a baseball board meeting, and I am sending my men to the store while I am gone in order to prep for a possible Nor’easter.( Can I cry now?)
Wednesday: Ranch chicken fingers(recipe coming in the future! Look for it.), mashed potatoes, and corn.
Thursday: Burgers and baked beans. Simple, yet delicious. My secret for great burgers? Worcestershire sauce and McCormick’s GrillMates Hamburger Seasoning.
Friday: Lasagna and brownies. It’s my special meal for my hubby. Recipes to follow for both of those meals, as well!
Saturday: To be determined, depending on the weather. If it’s nice enough to go out, I would say Chipotle. If it isn’t, maybe some kind of breakfast for dinner.
Sunday: MIL makes Sunday dinner, so it will be a surprise for me!
So, this is my weekly menu plan for current week. Of course, it is always subject to change, depending on our moods, and need to change our schedules or run out in the evening. I am trying, for the most part, to stick to the menu plan because it helps to save time and money. Do you spend time making a weekly menu plan? I would love to hear about it!
