I can’t even tell you how long it has been since I have created an actual menu plan. Retail madness is finally over for another 9 months. So now it is time to get back into a routine.
At least that is the plan.
This week is a hard week for me. 3 late evening shifts doesn’t leave much time to do decent cooking for my family. It doesn’t make this Mom happy. With oldest going to college in less than 7 months, family time in the evening is a tradition I am fighting hard to uphold.
So there are a lot of slow cooker meals on the menu this week. Keep reading to see what recipes are coming.
Weekly Menu Plan October 17-22:
Monday: Starting off the week with a favorite: Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteaks.
Tuesday: Spicy Chicken Sandwiches. Made by Perdue, they are done in 12 minutes and dinner is on the table.
Wednesday: Another slow cooker favorite: Slow Cooker Chicken Chili. Hopefully there will be enough to freeze leftovers for later.
Thursday: The men have haircuts, so they will grab something while they are out. As for me, I will have leftover chili at work.
Friday: TBD. Johnny works, so it will just be three of us.
Saturday: As always, it is our Chipotle day! Chicken burrito bowl, here I come.
