It’s been another one of those week’s again with one thing after another. Work has been busy, the kitchen has been a mess. So what is cooking this week? Seems like the theme is chicken. But no problem here, chicken is always something we can eat. This past weekend, we went to Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner. I don’t normally like talking negative about a place, but the food was really lousy. The service wasn’t too great, either. Since they are newly opened in our area, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I really couldn’t. So, I figured I better concentrate on my own kitchen this week.
What Is Cooking This Week January 20th
- Sunday: Chicken parmesan and noodles.
- Monday: My chicken fajitas.
- Tuesday: Grilled cheese sandwiches and soup.
- Wednesday: Belgium waffles and sausage.
- Thursday: Chicken tenders with augratin potatoes.
- Friday: Pizza.
- Saturday: Date night for hubby and me. We have a gift card to Red Robin, so I think we will go there.
I always seem to do better when I participate in Menu Plan Monday. We even stay on a sort of food budget. Did you happen to notice that we seem to love chicken and pasta? I need to plan to improve on some of those chicken choices by substituting healthier choices. Do you have any suggestions? Of course, things always change, especially on the nights when hubby is late, or I just don’t feel like cooking. But it is a great start, and great starts always lead to good things.
